BOY finally it has been a long time since I put down a buck! He is one that i had not got any pics of until the 13th. It was cold windy morning Saturday winds howling 25-30 mph! My Dad said here comes a BUCK! He said WOW you need to shoot him! I said OK! So i got my gun up and getting ready to take the shot and he says...shoot shoot SHOOT HIM!(he was excited) And then he said awe you missed! (i was not ready) I said NO i didn't, I said I just need him to and about that time he turned and BOOM! He jumped straight up then took a nose dive an bull dozed the ground for about 15 yards and gave it up within sight of the stand! Dad hollered out GREAT SHOT! Then it was a few seconds later I said dang I'm shaking! LOL We sat there talked and then Dad said let's go look at him! We got to him and we both said HOLY COW! This is the biggest body deer that we have ever seen for our whitetails here in Texas he went over 200 lbs! When we got him to the locker he made two of everything in there! So in the words of Roger Raglin is was a pretty good day!
