Wind was blowing 15-20 out of the north and it was sleeting and snowing. I had 2 smaller bucks chasing a hot doe so I hit the horns. A knarly old 10 came in about 80 yards from me. 3 minutes later this guy showed up ready to claim his girls. I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to take him. Great hunt!

Great looking deer. Rattling can be a blast when it works. Sort of like catching big bass on topwater baits. Very exciting.

Congrats nice 8. I took an 8-point last week on the 12th, in the Sabine National Forest that looks real close to your buck, just havn't been able to upload pics. Is photobucket the only way to upload pics or what?
