Trespasser - 10/29/14 02:18 AM

Our neighbor at our deer lease caught kid who is a known outlaw hunter parking and walking into our lease. She knows who it is and I've found him on Facebook. I contacted the game warden, but no reply yet. What else should I do?

If you don't hear back by tomorrow, call back, or try going through DOW in Austin on the hotline #. They will likely want a statement from the LO since she is a witness as well.

Call Bridges, they'll be the ones who handle it anyways.

If u have game cam footage then send him that pic via Facebook and tell him the wardens looking for u!!! I would msg him either way. If he's a kid he will be scared. No threats or anything. Of he has any respect he will apologize and tell u it won't happen again.

I would keep after the GW. Be respectful as this is their busy time of the year, but nonetheless keep after him until you get your report filed.

Might be the easiest way to get this fixed if you have a pic. If not, you probably gotta go the GW route.

If it was me and I wanted something done, I'd avoid all contact and let the LEO's handle it, especially since this individual according to the OP has a rep for this very thing. As far as anyone knows, the GW is already working a case involving this dirt-bag and you could inadvertently mess up his investigation. Do what you want OP, but Myself, I'd try contacting the GW again and just ask if he has an idea on a time frame and go from there.

Everyone should have the local game wardens cell number. Sheriffs office or Tpwd can give it to you. They are there to serve you. Good luck.

If this link works, it should list the game wardens for whatever county you hunt in.

After reading the posts I think I was being too nice....you should go the GW route which is what you obviously did.
