NE Texas Rut?

Anyone seeing any rut action? 2 weeks ago still had a bachelor group roaming together in Lamar county.

Last Friday I had a bachelor group of four bucks come in.

I was at our place in Chicota last weekend for youth weekend. No signs of rutting. In my experiance up there it's usually around Thanksgiving.

Bucks still running together in East Texas. Normally start the rut around the week before Thanksgiving for us.

Had deer all around me in the dark eating acorns Saturday morning. Left 5 mins before shooting light. No sign of rut. JDM where you at in Chicota? My place is in Rawhide on 197.

1814, It's family land in the bottom there. Most of it is on the river and we've been seeing some nice buck so far this year. Keeping my fingers crossed they're still around this weekend.

They are laying down scrapes here in Panola Co. and sparing. Full rut usually Thanksgiving week, but last couple of years, it's been around the 2nd to 3rd week of Nov.

Starting to see some pre rut here in Morris county. Have seen 3 legal bucks hit by cars here in Omaha. Saw an enormous buck cross the road in front of me about 545 pm last Friday between Naples and Hughes Springs. A little earlier than normal.

Rut has kicked in in Titus Co., my hunter killed a small 9 pt Thurs morning about 8am and then he took a 163 lb 8pt that scored 130 2/8 with me doing the measuring and I aint B&C certified. I plan on being back in the woods Monday am to see what I can kill.

Slow weekend for me. A young 8pt. and a spike sat morning, cruising around looking for does. Never looked at feeder. 2 does and a button buck that afternoon. Small 5 pt sun. I think its about to bust loose with this full moon. Ill be sitting all day this next weekend.

I'm north of Mt Vernon and had a big 11 on cam following a doe. Most of what we got on cam is coming in at night. It it ain't here now, it ain't far away.

My cameras in red river are showing bachelor groups as recent as this past Wednesday.
