With the general season opener just a couple weeks away, now's the time to make those preparations to make sure you're not scrambling the day before. Are the wasps still in charge of your box stands? Is the ATV going to start and run? Are you paid up with kitchen passes?
And God forbid, you're not going to be moaning in that long line to buy a license the night before.
I'll never forget the Friday before the season opener many years ago when I went out that morning to fire up the ATV and load it in my pickup. I hit the start button and all I got was the dreaded "click" from a dead battery. Thankfully, I had taken the day off so that it happened that morning, rather than at the lease late that evening.
