snakes are out careful

trailing a deer last night for a customer and walked up on a copperhead. be careful.

I saw 4 on the roads this week in town

I saw 5 copperheads with one mile on a trail run Tuesday. They don't bother me, but I had my dog with me.

I saw several snake tracks across a mtn biking path that I ride. Another rider warned me of a big black snake in the middle of a trail.

Had two rattlers in different locations cross the road when I was blading on the tractor. Gonna have the biggest, brightest flashlight on my way to the stand this weekend. Though it should be cool enough in the morning to keep them from moving.

Was loading a trailer full of hay out of a hay barn tonight and found a copper head under bale #4. Snuck back under the bales before I could grab a shovel. Slowed the rest of the loading down as it turned into "lift and look" under every bale after that. Never saw him again before the trailer was full.
