I have never seen him in person. I did hear a neighbor say something about a deer limping last year. Must be him. Buck for the kiddos.

He grew a pretty good rack if he was limping around last year.

Full body and that slant on his rump, could be an older deer.

As far as the injury I wouldn't let it be my reason to or to not shoot him. Deer are tuff. We had a nice 8pt we let walk for a couple years with a limp on his front leg. We named him Limpy watched him a couple years and he got better every year. Wanted to give him one more year and never saw him again. Looking at his rack and body condition doesn't appear the limp is setting him back too bad.

He's not past his prime age-wise, looks to be 4-5 yo, but may be past prime from a developmental standpoint due to injury to left leg. That explains the rack being slightly less developed on the right side. Not likely to improve next year, based on the comment that he was limping last year. Sounds like a permanent problem.
