Has anyone had any experience leasing from this outfit?

And another! Just research it on here you will find plenty of reasons not to lease with Danny or Amber.

Re: Courville's Outdoors - 01/16/14 04:05 PM

I encountered him twice in past while looking for leases. First time, he said he had all these land owners coming on board, would describe the property, but never could arrange a tour. Gave up and focused on other sources.

Second time was a property he had listed but was already leased when I called. When I described what I was looking for, he said he had another property but it wasn't worth his time to show. When I asked him what he meant, he said what the LO wanted to lease it for left him no room to make anything and went on about all he does and value he brings. I could lease it but he wasn't going to show it. Thought that was bizarre and moved on.

He may be as honest as the day is long, but something just never felt right when dealing with him.

I have seen their leases posted and as soon as I see who it is, I move on. Haven't heard anything good about them. Even on other forums.

Talked with him yesterday as I had left a message with him before I made this topic. He told me about some land he was leasing annually yet he said there would be dove hunters in Sept......so now it is not an annual lease I told him. Another annual lease the campers were only allowed Sept through Jan....again how is this an annual lease? Guy seems like a choad. Really miss the days when you made the agreement wit the land owner and formed that relationship. Now you have to watch for money hungry scam artist.

Read his lease agreement. There is absolutely nothing protecting the hunters, or saying he can't let others use your lease, equipment, or anything else.

Many of y'all remember my problems with this piece of crap. There is no bigger crook in the hunting business in the state of Texas than Danny Courville. It's to the point someone will put a bullet in his head one day. He makes a living off cheating people. Sad !

Paid $75 bucks to join his webpage. He tells you about a remarkable place that turns out to be crap. He doesn't want to help any hunters, he just wants their dough! LOOK AT HIS LEASES BEFORE YOU PAY HIM A DIME! Better yet, do not have dealings with him!

Re: Courville's Outdoors - 01/31/18 07:22 PM

Tried to lease from him 3 years ago. His agreement said Feb 1st to Jan 31. We made the down payment and were told multiple times until May his other guys couldn't get their trailers off so we were not allowed on the property. He refused to pro-rate because we missed spring turkey and he kept putting us off. End of May he finally refunded our down payment, real piece of work. Consider yourself lucky for not having to deal with him!
