Anyone have any game cam pics from this year in Childress county? I haven't made it back up to get my cams out yet.

Yes but don't know how to post pics from my phone, all 2.5 yr old with 2 3.5 coming in , not too many fawns and hogs. Our lease did not get a lot of water this year.

Definitely more rain in the area this year than the last couple of years. Should be some really nice bucks around.

A few in the one canyon system we have on the place, got a pic of a mulie doe and fawn on camera, we don't see them often but they come thru from time to time there is cotton and wheat planed to the land to are south

When do you see your best rutting at your place ours picks up around Nov 12

About the same time frame. About the 15th through Thanksgiving

I will be there this year from about the 10th to thanksgiving

I hope to be. I got so tied up with knife orders last year that I didn't get to hunt as much as I wanted to.

I'd guess 3.5. We had a really nice 3.5 year old 8 last year and I sure hope to see him this year. If he's a big as I think he will be I'd sure be tempted!

Did you lose a entire generation of fawns the first year of the drought? We did at our place, even the game warden came by one night and said the same,

So what age group deer should we be missing then , it's hard for to age bucks in velvet ?

we lost the 2011 fawns, so we will be short on 2.5 yr olds. I didn't see a single yearling buck in 2012.

Only saw two mule deer does last year.
