Anyone have any success this past season
In lbj grasslands in Decatur ?
Can you hunt does during bow season... The rules on does are a bit confusion
Any info I may try it next season
I've been on my lease in eastland and took 1 doe in 3 yrs

It's confusing for sure- the county rules and their rules. I always called prior to the season as a refresher. Before yes only during archery season then they have the Doe Days during rifle season

When I first moved to Texas 9 years ago, this was the first place I hunted. I would have had more success if "Barney's" were my target. Hunted it 2 years and then decided it was better to drive 6 hours to Kansas to hunt. In the last 9 years, I have had one friend kill a nice buck on that place with a muzzle loader. That was 8 years ago if I remember. I did have some success with other species.

In the past they did the doe drawings you had to be selected to harvest a doe.
