Wish I was hunting in the wind buffered plantations this morning. 15mph wind = no frost = no deer frolicking in frosty meadow.

You guys really melped a bad case of homesick here. I sure miss TX hunting. I stood in a tree stand last evening for three hours. Made worse by only seeing a moth! The flip side is I was with my big brodder, we haven't hunted together for 9 years!

hey guys jacob and rifleman, what lease is this on? Im currently on the renfro lease and trying to get on a archery only lease down in shirley creek, but man that looks awesome

congrats! I only saw yearling bucks today, hopefully tomorrow will be better. Shot a button buck opening weekend, but ready to get a nice buck in the freezer!

The lease im talking about is a archery only lease, the guys from lufkin farm feed supply, jaimie, the guy that does the bow's., is on that lease been trying to get on for 3 yrs now its a heck of a waiting list but man the deer they pull out of there

I put a cam on the creek basically right up against the FM rd on a ground scrape before I left town yesterday...we're going to do a lil' comparing to see how far they're ranging

The land in between us is killing a TON of deer! They've killed like 4 of the bucks we had on camera.

The land changed hands just north of the FM rd too with the passing away of the owner. I imagine Its going to be hunted a little during the week now.

Man were hunting the same woods were in between chireno and woden we probably hunt the same pipeline, we may be a few miles south west of you. Good bucks in the area.
