Wise County allows my son to harvest a nice buck

I have to admit I love to bass fish a lot more than hunt. To be honest, I dont care to shoot em but I respect those that due. Often I am in the THF reading only to help feed my 11 yr old son with information about what we need to hunt. I help get him what he needs simply because he would rather hunt than fish and thats ok. This is his 2nd year deer hunting and loves it. Anyway, we hunted Saturday and nothing. He harvested this deer Sunday morning so the wait paid off. It was about 80 paces from where we were. I have not field dressed a deer in 30 years but together we did our best. Thanks THF for the info we were able to obtain and help us. I have no idea on age, score or other stuff. It came from LOW fence ranch. I REALLY enjoy sitting in a blind w/ him as we wait together.

That is a great buck, you should be proud just like your son is. My son would rather hunt than fish, i love to do both so I have the best of both worlds.
