How many of you lost your lease or will move on to try to find a new place to hunt. If you are getting off and it's a good place post it on here with a contact could help someone out never know.

I'm lookin. Not sayin that I'm going to give up my current "lease" quite yet, but I sure didn't see many deer this year.

Kind of looking, kind of not. If another place comes up that we like, were gone. If not, we will stay and be happy!

Always looking, but doubt that I will be getting off my current lease. Just would hate to miss the chance at a good place and its always good to know what else is out there.

Lookin for the next opportunity, lack of deer for the fourth year in a row is enough for me.

My landowner sold his property last year, new owner didn't want to lease so I've been without all year. Got to find a new one, didn't get but one good day in a stand this year, and didn't see any deer,

Would like to have a lease again but I've decided just to keep doing packaged hunts. I don't really hunt anymore but sure enjoy taking my daughter and she has a lot of fun as well.

Air traveling over 100K miles a year makes a lease kinda hard to take care of properly.

TH, is probably the smartest of us. I've also considered doing a package hunt or two and spend more time fishing on the coast through the fall and winter.

Take in the costs and time of a deer lease and do what I do and go overseas.

No kidding. Africa looks pretty attractive when I consider what I've paid to hunt S. Tx.

Just wait until you figure in the cost of taxi and shipping back.

Have the taxidermy done there and ship it by container then.

yeah i know a great place for $1500 you can shoot up to a 130 buck, two does, and this is all inclusive. 3 nights four days. all for $1500, no extra fees. the only draw back with a place like that is you cant keep goign back every weekend or so like a lease.....

Heck why would a person with that amount of meat? lol

Go camping at Ray Roberts and fish the rest of the time.

I've thought about going to another lease for the last 5 years. Then I have to think about how nice it is to go to a place where I always see deer, camphouse is great, other hunters are never a problem, price is right, everything is set up and it's very quiet. Then I stop looking.

im looking for a place. my current lease is out in freestone. to much hunting pressure. first weekend of rifle season it was like forth of july. complete waste of money....intrested in place in a hour or two around ft worth area.

Looks like we will have a couple spots open on our lease. People get discouraged when you hunt 5 days a season and only shoot 1 deer. It's in Hall county. Mulies, pigs, and wt. pm me if you would like to be on the list, or more info.

I think you and half the metro mess is looking for that same lease!
