Score this High 8

Watched this 8 for several days S. of Hondo. he is to about to ears but not outside. Love his thinkness and extreme height, just having trouble in my head fitting the inches on an 8. Thinking 123-130 but I do not have much experience scoring. Am I off base?

I'd say 120ish. But he's one of those bucks that looks better than he scores. You said you like him, I'd take him.

WOW what a buck! 120-130 he is just awsome looking he will be a great shoulder mount with him in the seek position! I think he's outside the ears but your right not by much. Make a good shot and watch him go down!

Wouldnt dout it.. the mass is killin me...his basses look like they could be bigger than what im thinkin

Yea, The bases make it hard to put the binocs down. I just stare at them! I keep hoping he has a big brother that has an extra 2 points and is about 2" wider!

funny, that's what I'm always thinking.......

Then on the last weekend of season I'll be kicking myself for being so critical of that super heavy/tall 8.

How old is this deer??

My guess, looking at his back and face, he is 5 maybe 6 years old.

I do at the house. In fact, the pics are still on my zoom camera. I take pics with cameraphone of the display on the back of the zoom to text to other hunters and that is what I posted. A pic of my pic. Anyways, I judged him at 4.5-5.5. I'll look for the others.
