Nice area. Have a couple of friends who have places right on or beside the interstate out of Comfort. Some really nice deer in that area. Even had a few acorns in that area this year on a couple of ranches I was on this August. Good luck.

Who is your friends may know them? I can see I10 from my blind.

Reeh family and also Keller. You should be able to rattle up in that area already as the rut is kicking in if not started already.

No rutting going on 17 does and 8 bucks no chasing at all. They normally start around Thanksgiving here.

Do the deer look in good health there? In the late summer deer looked a little thin in some areas I was in around Kerrville.

I am betting it will be a late morning for deer movement today with the moon, the temps and weather pattern changing.

Just finished putting out the yellow brick road little man is ready. Changed to a tower blind where they been seeing a 170" deer hope he steps out tonight.

Sorry about last knight guys we started seeing some really good deer got caught in the moment ans did not post. We saw two 10pts over 160 and a 12pt that was 170" but could not get on him. Little man was getting frustrated but I told him that's hunting he looked up and told me its Ok dad just wanted you to have a big deer LOL!!!!

Little man is ready for the truck deer left 30 minutes ago and nothings came back you know how it is when it get boring LOL!!! The DS is running out or battery so its going down hill fast maybe something will show back up if nor were are headed East pretty fast.
