FS or Trade Savage Mod 10 Predator Max-1

Sale or Trade Savage Mod 10 Predator Max-1 243 Win. This one has 20" barrel w/thread protector, accustock, accutrigger, detachable mag, fluted heavy contour barrel, Vortex Eagle 4-16x42 in Warne rings. I added an Arca rail to bottom of stock which I use with my tripod. It's a tack driver, shoots my handloads w/85gr Sierra HPBT 1/2"-3/4" all day long. Just have too many short action bolt guns sitting around and I'm looking for an AR pistol in either 300BO or maybe 45acp. I'd take $1,050 for the package or $900 for rifle and base only. FTF or you pay shipping. Located in Coleman, Tx.

Up again, maybe noone is familiar with these any more... These are the most accurate rifles Savage has ever built. I know bc I've owned many over the years. These were $950 brand new when Savage was still offering this model and that was a steal. Solid trigger, solid aluminum bedding platform in the stock, amazingly accurate barrels, there was nothing to waste money on to improve. Guys were buying Rem700's and spending an extra $1,500 afterwards on triggers, bedding, stock, etc. The Savage Mod 10 Predator would outshoot them straight outta the box. Anyways if you're interested, google some articles and forums about these rifles.

Has the barrel been cut and threaded at 20”? I couldn’t find a 20” madel only found a 24” model.

Yes these were all 24" from the factory. This one was cut and threaded.

Think this may have been mine at one time. It will tear a ragged hole with 87 grain VMaxs and Varget.

Yessir, I've owned 2 of this exact same rifle over the years and I think this one I got from you years ago. It also shoots 85gr Sierra hpbt's and IMR4046 into ragged holes. Just a great shooting rifle.
