My BiL wants a Honda 1000

But he can’t seem to find one in eastern Louisiana. Are they not available these days?

There's not much of anything available these days that isn't spoken for. I ordered my Can Am back in February, got it a couple weeks ago. Best bet is to put in an order unless you want to pay more for something on the lot or an inflated used price

Honda makes a great machine but they suck at communication. Our talons were 7 and 9 months wait time roughly.

I suggested that he just order it and wait. He said his SIL will get him a beater SxS till the Honda shows up, and that should work out Ok.

He likes that the Honda has shaft drive. His Gator has a cracked block and he isn’t going to get a new engine for it. He was sniffing around my Kubota, but he needs something better for mud use. He lives in NE Louisiana and the gumbo mud there is legendary.

They are on FB marketplace all the time. Many of them are almost new. Now that things are getting more expensive and folks can't afford to pay their bills, I have seen even more for sale lately.

Look up Honda riders for adults on Facebook.
Also the Honda sxs forum as they are up for sale all the time.

Guys have them with 10k- 50k miles on them with no issues.
