Sounds like you may have confused the parking brake lever with the gear shift. Maybe Cathy needs to have your driving checked

Hope nothing is damaged too bad bill... parking brake cables may need adjusted to compensate for wear.

It ties in with the previous thread. I let the tree trimmers use it. You can't tighten the cable tight enough to keep from driving through it. It has a little bitty non flashing warning light hidden behind the steering wheel.
A $2 kill switch would solve that problem
