Stop sale info.

From another utv forum I am on, 2 stop sales were issued on a bunch of Mules.

Thanks for the info. My 2016 DX is included in that listing. I guess they’ll be sending out a recall notice.

The 2019-2020 Kawa Pro MX is also recalled. But not on that list oddly. The good news is if you put a hold deposit on one while its in stop sale, Kawa will give buyers an additional $500.00 off sticker once the recall is closed. The bad news is the factory that makes and distributes the parts they need to fix the recall is shut down from Covid-19. Woods in Austin said it could be months before they get them resolved.

On the MX the recall issue is related to spontaneous combustion. There are two flaws with high probability of fire hazard. The engine oil cooler hoses might separate from clamp joints because of a lack of strength which can lead to fire from sudden and substantial oil leak and the fuel tank cap gasket might have become torn and pinched when the cap was installed on the filler neck. This leads to fuel or vapor leakage, possibly causing a fire.
