I have a used Polaris 4 wheeler - the steering column is loose. It still steers and drives but the column moves - anyone know what the fix is?

Most likely the upper steering post bushing is worn out, hardly anyone ever greases them.
The OE is 2 piece, there are a couple aftermarket replacements that are 'better', but the OE will last quite a while if greased.

Might think about changing the lower bushing too, while you're at it.

You can look the part number up with year & model on many atv parts websites.

Best place I've found for OEM parts.
I am not affiliated with these folks but have had very good service from them.
They have pretty good prices on most stuff and it's OEM so it fits.
They also have huge stock of parts and I've only had 1 part backordered from factory and that took an additional 7 days.
An added bonus is online parts diagrams so you can match your part to picture for proper selection.

Find your part number here:

And then paste the part number in Amazon search bar for best price: https://www.amazon.com/

Bought a lot of stuff for my 2003 Sportsman the past few years. HID light replacements, cv boot kits, very random parts that you would be surprised you can find on Amazon. OEM parts to boot.
