Old Honda 4wheeler - 09/17/15 04:07 PM
My neighbor came over for a visit this morning, and he was on his old Honda 4Wheeler. I was surprised, since I really did think that his grandson had killed it a couple of years ago. Ugly....that thing has gotten ugly. Starts easy and purrs like a kitten. He said he just gassed it, charged the battery, and fired it up. I've bragged on my 16 year old Yamaha, but his Honda is a 1985 model. I've said for years that you can't kill a Honda, and lord knows that my Dad tried to. He could mistreat an ATV with the best of them. 31 years old and runs great. Amazing. Only thing that needs replacing is the seat. Looks like a couple of bobcats tried to shred it, and did.

My buddy still has my old 1983 Honda 185S in his garage. He hasn't messed with it in a few years but I would bet money that I could get it started. I actually have won money from buddies betting that it would start on the first pull. You can't kill a Honda.
I have an ancient Honda I leave at the lease. Starts everytime, with a deer feeder 12v battery, ...... just no brakes at all, look for something soft to hit if you don't plan well and down shift early...
It's saved us more than once.

90's model Homda Fourtrax may be the best 4x4 bike in the history of quads

"Follow the leader, he's on a Honda!" Well at least all of mine are.
I have an old honda big red, it has 200s rear fenders on it though, still runs like a champ.

Yep, got a 1986 250, not 4x4, still takes a lot to get it suck. Have to watch going up hill not done [censored] and give gas, oh my a wheelie.

I'm glad to hear that it's still running! It was pretty much worn out when I owned it. Just more proof that you can't kill a Honda!!
