looking for advice on a small trailer...

after recently purchasing a UTV (for sale now in the classifieds) that i found out after the purchase my wife really wasnt on board with, i am now looking for a small trailer i can pull with my 4 wheeler. (in my own defense, the utv turned out to be a lot bigger than i thought and i cant haul my sons 50cc atv with it, and it is a bit louder than i had hoped)

i want something small, more like a heavy duty wagon i suppose, that i can just load up with bags of corn/feed instead of having them piled all over the 4 wheeler.

my dad has an old wagon/cart that u can get at home depot with the bigger air filled tired which are all flat, will putting new tires on this be the best route?

i just didnt know if u guys had found a better small trailer.

Go to tractor supply or attwood and get a set of new solid tires that wont ever go flat. I changed my hand tck to solid tires and no issues. I even built a 4x4x8 hog trap and used the same type of tires and they'v been good for 4yrs now. I think ea tire (dependin on the size u get) holds 500lbs. They hav bigger tires and smaller 1s, dependin on ur application

Your dad's cart should do fine. Use slime or berrymans to keep from getting flats. Should have it in the 4 wheeler tires. The 4 X 6 trailers from Tractor Supply, Northern Tool, etc pull easy with almost any wheeler. If the above solid tires fit, that may be the way to go. A small trailer is the way to go.

Can you cut/weld steel? If so, keep an eye on Craigs list, or the like, and pick up a super cheap jet ski trailer. Then, cut it up and make what ever you want. It'll last for ever and will always do what you need. If it doesn't, cut it up s'more!

i wish i could, i ended up paying $65 for 4 new tires on a wagon i can get brand new for $89 at home depot....so i'm $25 ahead right?

I'll give you a trailer if you'll come get it. You can choose between two. Both are the same size, with one orange one from Home Depot and a gray twin from Lowes. Both have inflatable tires that hold air (I slimed em). Wife used to use them to drag behind her ATV for general hauling/gardening till we got her a Kubota UTV with hydraulic dump bed. Don't need the trailers anymore, and certainly not 2 of em. They are rather small, and I'll guess that they are 3' by 3' or something close to that. They are not expensive trailers, but they work fine. I'll measure the beds if you have real interest. They are just taking up space these days.
