Can someone educate me on ATV .... 2 stroke vs. 4 stroke? - 07/17/11 01:06 AM

Looking for an older ( cheaper atv ). 2 vs 4 stroke. Which one is quieter, last longer, more trouble free? I guess speed and power might count too.

4 stroke more fuel efficient, reliability and quieter.

go 4 stroke. your not racing the the wheeler your hunting with it. you will be alot happier with the 4 stroke.

YOULL GET TIRED OF REPLACING SPARK PLUGS EVERY TIME THE 2 STROKE GETS A LITTLE WET

Ive never had a problem with a spark plug "needing replacing when getting wet".
In fact if that was the case why would they make 2 stroke snowmobiles, or 2 stroke seadoos?
