At Stan’s for two days before driving south to George’s. First time at Stan’s, been going to George’s for several years. Stan is as gracious a host there is with a phenomenal operation. Both are world class.

This morning’s 4:30am rise was quickly rewarded with a 19min six man limit. Big ducks were flying strong before shooting light, but once we were shooting it was teal heavy and fast into the flooded rice. Fun picking out birds when they are coming in forty at a time. Plenty more hunts ahead and I will keep this thread updated as the weekend goes along if y’all are interested.

Another great morning

Nice hunts!

First morning in Stuttgart. We got to watch this incredible sunrise and shoot a few more birds. Mostly teal again out in the rice, but my colleagues in the timber got limits of green heads. An adventurous snow goose provided some variety to the harvest when it came into the decoys

Hunt finished with a great morning in the timber and some goose in the afternoon. Can’t wait to get back next year

We hunted at Stan Jones Mallard Lodge for two days and at 5 Oaks for two days. First time at Stan Jones, we have been going to 5 Oaks since 2013. The goose hunt was with Hoot and his team at Goose Busters. Been with Hoot since 2013 as well. Only good things about all of those good guys.
