Granddaughters first deer.

I took my oldest granddaughter (11) on her first real deer hunt this m
orning. We've been working toward this day since she was nine. We had eight bucks show up early this morning. One really nice eight. They didn't stick around long. I told here we have to be patient and wait a bit longer and hopefully something else would show up. About 8:30 this guy came out. One shot with her Winchester featherweight in 243 and he was down. 110 yards. While not as big as the buck that showed up earlier, he's big enough! One proud grandpa here!
