Sad day for my Grandson

Sad day for my Grandson - 09/16/22 10:33 PM

He worked his butt off all summer lifting and working out. First game of the season he takes a pass for 55 yards to the goal line and scored. As he fell across the goal line he landed on his shoulder and broke his collar bone in two places - had surgery last week and out for the season - I feel bad for him but I told him "welcome to life" - things happen and you just have to make the best of it

The kid's fast. 'Very sorry he's in pain and had to go through that.

Great play, agree he is fast. His team blocked that play well for him as well. Prayers for a speedy and complete recovery

Sorry he was injured, but he is young and will recover quickly. He needs to enjoy the thought of making a 55 yard run for a touchdown. Many never do that.

Life lessons are sometimes painful. As you pointed out to him it will be one of the bumps on the road of life.

Sucks to be out for the season, though he’s young, and clearly has the size, skill and speed! He should easily bounce back, but it does hurt the mindset.
