Sometimes I get bored , and like to use something a little different….

Marlin 1895 SBL chambered in 45-70 . Barrel chopped to 13” and threaded . Mag tube shortened, new dovetail cut , front sight relocated and milled to fit contoured barrel , follower modified to fit 4+1
Silencerco Hybrid .46 suppressor
Nvision Nox 18 thermal scope
IQ Munitions Magnuforce subsonic 550 grain hard cast flat nose bullet

Big slow no expanding bullet bludgeons a hole through but on editable critters eat right up to the hole.

Even with 325 grain SuperSonics there is not enough mass on predators to open them up
