Shot this buck in Ohio in October. Biggest deer I’ll ever kill bow or rifle. Shot him at 21 yards in a turnip/beet patch

This is the one I’m most proud of. Shot at him twice over a 2 year period ( and he was shot at by other hunters as well) before my 3rd arrow got him. Best game of cat and mouse I’ll probably ever play with a deer. I had given up on ever seeing him again.

He is one of the largest Japanese Sika ever recorded taken with a bow

Lampasas County, opening day of bow season. Oct. 2020

Broke 150 by just a bit. He is my best to date with any weapon. I found his travel corridors and set up on his main trail. Put out some hand corn and he played perfectly opening morning. Broadside at 18 yards, heart shot, dead at 35 paces.

Yes, I know. Didn't say it did. Was just sharing the stat as it's fairly unusual to see a buck with such a close tip-to-tip measurement.
