#1 son had friends over today, so I went hunting solo- the mule deer are in full rut (too bad they’re not in season), and there wasn’t a whitetail or a pig to be found. Cool views though. [Linked Image]

The 3 rigs together are about 2.5 miles south west of me, the mule deer was 50 yards from be, and the rig behind him is about 3/8 of a mile to the east of me.

Awesome! I remember when there were almost no deer in that part of the country. Anytime you can see more than one drilling rig from where you’re standing you know life is good.
