Fog hunting - 12/04/21 01:33 PM

Can’t see 15 yards this morning, but it was far enough for a quick phone pic.

If you are not first you are last.

815 and I can now see 50 yards. If I was a bow hunter it would be fine. But I’m not.

There is no topic. That’s kinda why I ventured into this picture forum-EXPECTATIONS ARE LOW. Just throw a pic out there and either way the thread goes it’s no big deal.
I started an Age/Score thread other day I had HIGH EXPECTATIONS for. I had pics from 3 years of same interesting buck that’s now dead so got all the measurements, dead deer pic, story etc. Same thing with another buck. Thread got little action so my feelings got scuffed a little. Life’s too short for scuffed feelings so I’m playing safely in the photo forum for awhile while I recuperate.
Onward through the fog and forever forward.

I love hunting in the fog. The shadows form and expectations are super high its a boomer…only to see a spike walking in…reminds me of that time of day when everything you see looks like a deer and your head is swiveling to fast trying to see all of them (just before legal time in the AM and usually just before legal time ends at night)
