First Trail of the Season

Posted By: Double AC

First Trail of the Season - 11/06/21 09:15 PM

First trail of the season was the Lady’s first overnighter. Deer was shot low in the shoulder at a steep angle and jumped twice and pushed 200yds the night before we got there. Picked up in the morning and Lady got on the track right away. Only two drops of blood on the entire 400yd trail. Unfortunately the coyotes caught up to her before we did. Glad to have found her though and get some work for my tracker in training

If I’m in the area and you’re not far, I would be happy to help. Lady’s only got a couple tracks under her belt so would not call us professionals or take any $ for it. Feel free to PM if you’re ever in need and I may be able to come help or I know some other guys on here have dogs as well who are probably more experienced than mine.
