Another One Bites the Dust - WY Antelope

Snuck over for a day hunt at Pinedale area. The last storm got them bunched to migrate, and tonight and tomorrow is supposed to snow again. Sayonara antelope. Across the Green, and heading for the desert!! Saw 300-400 does, and passed 52 bucks before taking this guy. Had hooks and prongs, plus had a bad limp. Perfect candidate. 434 yards with the 7 rem mag, and I got the 40 year old Dr. Death hat in the pics for my son!!!!.

Nice I did not know they migrated, so I guess from higher grounds to lower or from open land to areas with trees and brush for wind break cover?

The problem with multiple tags is devoting enough time to doing a proper hunt, without feeling like you need to kill something, in order to go home or on to the next one!! I love the experience as much as the kill.

Dat's a sore subject this year. Knew I'd be busy in September and just told the girl I'd take a Palisades Zone A tag, and hunt cows in Nov. She never said a word, and gave me my license and tags. Well, instead of antlerless until Nov 16th like usual - they cancelled it all together!!!

Never base future plans on past performance. Read the damn Reg's!!

But I do have 7 more WT tags in ID, WY, and Kansas. Hahaha
