Big Cat - 10/13/21 02:32 PM

I know, I can take the comments. It can't be!!!! This showed up on one of my lease buddies cell game cam. Lease is in Junction. He has 2 non cell cameras in this pen and were hoping one of them got a full pic of him.

Bobcat; the IR flash from the camera makes the tail look longer than it actually is.

(Just didn't want the OP to feel left out.)

That is a big ol kitty cat. Hope yall get more and better pics of him to post up on here. I'd be on high alert walking the woods knowing he is around.

That is a big SOB!

Hope one of you gets him.

I'd rather kill him then a 180" net typical!

Junction area quite plausible. That's a stout cat in good health as well.

No question its a Big Cat (Mountain Lion).

Pretty crappy trigger response or you're holding out on us. At that distance, there should have been an earlier picture with more of the cat in it.

Re: Big Cat - 10/13/21 08:20 PM

That would make a great mount. Hope you get to see it in person.

Re: Big Cat - 10/13/21 10:55 PM

Yep. No doubt. Have had some experience with them, hunted them, shot one and had one threaten my horses in Western Colorado however I was unable to get a shot at that one. A DEER KILLING MACHINE!

Big Cat.... Wont help the deer hunting and real good reason to be carrying that side arm handy in addition to the hunting rifle. Pretty cool to see them though...

If i saw that on my game cam, my cap light would be spinning like a light house while i walked to blind.

Re: Big Cat - 10/14/21 01:16 PM

Looks like a possum to me. roflmao

It's incredible to me how they are all over the state and people who hunt all the time rarely get a glimpse at one in the daylight. They are incredible creatures.

I believe he's caught a few deer around a feeder. Would love to put the dogs on him.
Adios,

EVCO listen to this man. I know that morning walk would have me on pins and needles until I was safely in my stand. Just a big ol' nope from me.

Re: Big Cat - 10/16/21 12:32 PM

Big cat!! We’ve got one that’s showed back up on the river in the last week up here, I’m guessing it’s hunting pigs since it’s pushed the deer out. Pretty wild how when they show up most of the deer flee the area, you can normally tell when it’s gone by the deer showing back up but it will most definitely make you think about it walking to the stand in the dark for a while. Those rustling leave will bring on a whole new meaning eek2
