Its like Christmas in July

Some of you may have seen my post in the deer hunting page “got the text today” about my first WT shoulder mount being ready to pick up.
Well today i got an email from the taxi in MT that my first elk shoulder mount is done and ready to ship. Super excited!

Cant wait to get him in and see how he compares to the WT deer in size and looks.

Quick pics the taxi sent me, of course the pics don’t show how big an elk is….he isn't a huge high scoring elk, but he is a solid 5x5. Super happy with him and the pics look great, think the taxi did a bang up job on him.

Looks good. Congratulations. Ive never hunted Elk cause I just love WT too much, but many do. Beautiful country and big majestic animals so Im sure it would be special.
