Around 7 years Later..

the Agave finally bloomed after around 7 years. Heck I felt like a parent waiting for it to finally happen almost like waiting on a child to be born Yucca and Cactus came in pretty good again this year.







Everything was about to bust out in blooms/



I am guessing it went up about 14'

And this was really weird some very young Agave bloomed, cold snap in Feb must have gotten them wacky?

Yeah, the big freeze wiped some of our prickly pear out and it doesn't seem to be coming back. I'm ok with it as we have a lot.
Just strange how it got some of it yet others are just fine....even part of the same cluster.

Interesting how the freeze wacked a couple of the established Agave out that were in the garden yet I have 3 on top of the ground in thin plastic containers that survived
