Picture of my buddies trolling motor. Make sure it's locked into place or strapped down before heading home. Did I mention it's a $2K+ ipilot unit.
He's still shaking his head over this one.

Cheaper and easier to replace than the lower unit.

JB Weld...I put that chit on everything.

Dang, that sucks pond scum. Never had one bounce over on me and even if I did, it wouldn't hit the pavement. That thing must have a seriously long shaft.

Unfortunately a thing like that is pretty easy to do. Kinda like forgetting to plug your hull before launching. I can tell from personal experience on that you only do it once!!!
