Ice is out and dock is in

Earliest I've had the dock in the water in 20 years. All done and chilling by the fire with a beverage. Total peace and quiet as we are the only place on the lake in the entire frame and than some.

Winter ice destroys it - especially at break up in the spring. Area with the cribs is permanent - more or less - but still needs repair due to ice damage every 4 or 5 years.

Very nice. We went up to Missanabie a couple years ago over Memorial Weekend to do some fishing and found out that the ice had only gone out the week before. Truly spectacular scenery up there.

I could live there in the Summer.

I ain't about living every day in that cold.

Once the border opens you guys are all welcome. Come up in the winter and i can probably scrape together 7 or 8 snowmobiles for some real northern fun.
