Savage Citation DE grade in .284 (add 30% for this caliber) I had never seen the citation, also made was the PE Presentation Grade which I have seen, this take the center piece of my collection or maybe with the K engraved model, be hard to pick [Linked Image]

Back when Ron Coburn was running Savage, I had the opportunity to tour the factory. They had a display room where many of the rare Savage firearms were in glass cases. It has been several years since I was there but must admit that I don't remember this beauty. The Savage 99 has to go down as one of the true big game hunting classic rifles and my favorite of the lever guns.

the Citation came in the regular Savage bx inside the shipping bx, the seller sent me both along with the citation info ect
google Jerrys sport center, still there but under some other something [Linked Image]

Jerry's Sport Center was a large wholesaler of firearms, ammo, optics that was purchased by Ellett Brothers and then Ellett Brothers went bankrupt a few years ago. Jerry was one of my favorites to deal with as they offered competitive pricing.
