I've had deer and hogs come in as I was feeding but the Javi's decided to get in the game. I'm standing at the door of the truck, they're about 15 feet away.

Wow...I did not know they went that far North.

I have hunted Nolan County (Two counties East of Howard County) on and off for 30 years and Nolan County has a Javelina season. Nobody I know that hunts in Nolan County has ever seen or taken a Javelina, but they have a Javelina season.

Pretty cool you have them on your place. They make good tamales.

Just my .02,

I had a couple on camera back in 2012 when I first got on my lease at Nolan/Coke border. Never seen any since.

I've seen a couple of ranches that had "kinda tame" javalinas around the ranch headquarters. Usually hand raised from very young.

A couple of those wouldn't let you out of the pickup when you drove up. I sure didn't get out of mine... wink

Good guard dogs!

I had to crawl out of the blind 3 times on my last hunt to run them off before they ate all my road corn. They are not known for being bright or overly cautious i dont believe.
