Girls shooting.

Girls shooting. - 12/01/20 01:36 AM

My daughter trying to teach my granddaughter on the old Rem Model 6 I gave my little grandson (her big brother). I know her head's not down on the stock, but...she's 5! The best part is, we weren't even there, they wanted to shoot. (The bad part is, they're shooting at Grampy's booze bottles, and there's plenty to choose from. )

My girl is one of the most beautiful, talented women that I've ever come across.

Nothing better compadre!!!

Buy that little lady a .22 mag cricket and get her started on it and before you know it she will be ready for a 223 and be shooting your deer and I promise you it will be more exciting and fulfilling than any deer you can kill yourself!

I've been looking all over for anyone who has a Cricket (preferably in pink), in stock! I shoulda thought of it months ago. bang

I watched her around the guts of her daddy's buck. Her big brother got more green around the gills. She'll be a killer, probably more than her brother. The whole family is uber competitive. Could be trouble. roflmao

Remington model 6 was a rolling block single shot action, usually in 22 rimfire. Manufactured from 1901-1933 when numerous single shot .22's flooded the market.

Cool rifles and not a greater use for those old guns to be put to. The only Remington rolling block I ever shot was in 32 rimfire. the shorts were moving so slow that you could see the bullet as it made the thump on some targets.

When my niece, who grew up outside of DC, was 13(?) and was down at the ranch one summer I took her out shooting.
I got a great series of pictures and videos of her shooting my :

Winchester Model 1890
Winchester Model 190
Browning Citori 20 ga
Para-Ordnance P-14
Ruger SIngle Six

I put together a portfolio of the stills and short videos and called it "A Liberals Nightmare' I wish I could find some of those.

My first rifle was a model 6, given to me by my great aunt when I was 4. The rifle belonged to my great uncle who died in the 1970’s and I never met but was thought highly of by all the family.

I’ve used to to shoot a few quail and the odd rabbit or two
