grandsons first deer

My 6 yo grandson got it done in Kentucky. his first deer a fat 7 point.

thanks, the lil feller is a walking miracle, 3 years ago he was hit by a car and spent months recovering. he is a perfect little boy now. he has wanted to shoot a deer so bad and something always went haywire before he could pull the trigger. well all of his patience (yeah we will call it that lol) and freezing and getting up early paid off when this 7 pt walked straight in and posed at 16 yards. the 243 youth rifle sent the 100 gr winchester right behind the shoulder and out the the brisket.
I gotta tell ya when that little guy wrapped his hands around the horns and the look on his face I had to turn away , I lost it, completely turned to a blubbering goof!
three years of worry and stress just came pouring out.
he doesn't have a father so I'm pretty much his guy and I wonder what I did to be so blessed.
I've been deer hunting almost 50 years, lost count of all the deer I've shot, have walls full of really good bucks, but this is by far my greatest day in the woods.
