9 yr old took his first deer today, a nice 8 point with my 280 @ 100 yards, dropped in his tracks. I’ll never forget the celebration in the stand, he was jumping up and down with his twin brother! [Linked Image]

Yes I can’t even explain how excited I was, only other time I was that happy in the field was when he took a gobbler at age 7 with my 12 gauge with 3 inch turkey loads. I explained it was too much for him but he wouldn’t have it, knocked him flat on his back (I held on to the gun) but it didn’t faze him one bit.
