All good plans...

Well, I thought I had a plan. Had a really nice buck on camera coming pretty regular and had plans to shoot him. Neighbor also had a really wide 10 late summer coming I was hoping to get chance at. Sunday morning this guy stepped it at first light and I couldn’t pass him up. My luck I would never see either one of the other deer and with the hunting pressure we have, none of them would have never made it past Thanksgiving. In my 35+ years of deer hunting, I don’t think I have ever killed a deer opening weekend. He was a respectable mature 9. Now onto Nebraska next weekend for a Muley!
