House Cat - 10/27/20 02:41 AM

This cat has been hanging around. I don’t see a collar and he’s a bit skittish when you try to approach him. [Linked Image]

Are the neighbors missing any of their cats?

Has anyone called local Animal Control or the local GW?

Our stray cats are a bit different.
I only know of one that spent time in anyone's yard, and that one chose my brother's yard to hang out in.
It took a liking to some road kill my brother had fed to his dogs.

This happened around 1990. I only had a cheap little film camera back then.

Kitty wasn't afraid of me. Getting to within 3 feet wasn't a problem.

My brother told me they came to an agreement, kitty would agree to not turn them into shoe laces in exchange for exclusive rights to the road kill.

There wasn't much on the bone of that Deer so I got some beaver fat from a trapper and put that out for Mr. Kitty.
Next day the beaver fat was gone and so was our guest. We never saw it again.

Brother's wife left the house for the first time that week and the dogs seemed happier too.
