That would actually be typical of the 'Pineywoods Rooters' we used to have here 30 yrs ago. Very long snouts.

Also with thick shoulders...tapering to the rear. Not at all like the blocky hogs we see now.

Growing up in Walker County, 35 years ago, about 90% of the hogs taken looked like the one in the photo, the classic "Pineywoods Rooter".
