Got my fish back

I got my red fish back last weekend. It was 43” and caught it in port A. Trophy masters taxidermy out of Corpus did the replica. I think it turned out well I would do business with him again.

He was almost 22”... scored 142 gross. If his left side would have matched his right he would have been close to 150.

I know I have a pic holding it but it must be on my wife’s phone. Didn’t want to tag it but the fight was too hard on him. Fought him 30 minutes on 15 pound test. After we took measurements and a few pics we weren’t able to revive him.

You can also make a great ceviche with the little bitty scraps. I put them in a ziplock and leave them overnight to pickle. They will turn white similar to a boiled boiled shrimp. Drain and top with salsa and cilantro.
