Great pics!

I got caught inside one in Iraq and I could swear that thing was chasing me. And it hurt. Sources say the wind is moving at 45-55 mph inside the DD and I believe it.

That rock and feeder lid have ended up off that feeder more than once. I’m pretty confident I know the reason why now.

After wheat harvest (June on the rolling plains) we would see 1, 2, or 3 big one a day. Out in the country you could see them miles away. Moved a lot of wheat straw. Some were monsters and would climb up to 2000, 4000 ft. We did not have swamper at this time. We would try to shut the house down when one was coming our way.
