Hill Country 12 - 10/21/20 10:37 PM
'Pretty sure. (Left G5 is hidden, I think, in this pic.) I had him once on camera at the Windmill, and now at a feeder just north of there. He ain't no south Texas twelve, but still, a rare sighting for the hill country. (I never really considered Junction/Menard "hill country", but I'm warming to the idea. )
I'm 60, been hunting since I was 11, hunted a few western states and have also hunted Zimbabwe and Mozambique. 'Never killed a 12pt. WT. 'Got my youngest a 13 point though, many years ago, and I remember it like it was yesterday. (Sisterdale.) This boy gives me inspiration to keep hammering the does!
