Boys are not getting along anymore

Two mature bucks fighting last night.

Boys will be boys

They are doing the same here since the rut starts in about 3 weeks or so. No new bucks on cams yet but a few bucks are showing broken tines already.. I expect to see some new bucks in the next 10 days though. Attitudes are going to be adjusted in the next 2-3 weeks.
I was on a ranch this week where they rut early also and saw several bucks with broken tines already. This one buck in the background of this pic was raking some brush before he walked in. The other bucks could here him and bristled up as soon as they heard him and then postured towards him. You can see a limb in the bucks antlers and the other two bucks walking towards him. Thought I was going to see a fight but the buck in the background backed down when those two walked to him. The buck on the front right had the most attitude and appeared to be the more dominant. I think the buck in the background was traveling and happened to show up at this feeder at the wrong time.
