PIGS PIGS AND MORE PIGS

Well this weekends lease trip was nothing but pigs and it's getting expensive slinging arrows at them. I had pigs come in almost every hunt and ran off 2 groups because I didn't want to waste another arrow. Luckily I can sharpen my slick tricks if lucky enough to recover the arrow. I was able to take 2 sows and shot a big boar but didn't recover. My brother also took a big boar and shot another he didn't recover.

Great shooting. I agree, flinging arrows at pigs gets very expensive.

Pretty much unless you can recover arrow and isn’t broken. $10 broadhead $10 arrow and another $10 if you have lighted nocks.

That’s why I shoot the BP Blackout Envy arrows. With the 10-20% coupons BP sends I get them for $4.00-$4.50 each. Even shooting cheaper arrows it still cost me 5.00-15.00 per shot if they brake the arrow or run off with the arrow and broad head. That said, I’ll stick one every chance I get.

Yes.....pigs do not get a pass

Unfortunately I shoot a Wicked Ridge crossbow and they take specific arrow/nocks.
